My Best Chili Yet!

This has been my best chili to date! I am so excited about it. Obviously you can sub canned beans for dry but I was in a hurry so here it is:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

  2. 2 Jalepenos, Slice in half lengthwise, scoop and toss out seeds, (I leave about 1/4 of the seeds in for heat)

  3. Roast Jalepenos for 10-15 minutes.

  4. 1/2 onion, Chop, toss in pan over medium heat.

  5. 1 lb ground beef, add to pan and brown with onions. (Don’t drain the beef- we prefer grass fed)

  6. 4 beef bouillon cubes, mix with 1/2 cup of water and heat.

  7. Put Jalepenos, Onions, Beef, and Boulion/water mixture in a pot, simmer for ten minutes.

  8. 1 Can Tomatoes w/ green chilis, add to pot and simmer.

  9. 4 Cans Chili Hot Beans, add to pot and simmer.

  10. 2 Cans Black beans, add to pot and simmer on low for 20 minutes - 2 hours.

Top with Oyster Crackers, Cheddar Cheese & Sour Cream. SOOOOO good!
